1. Daily Cleaning (After Each Using)

Wipe down the carriage, footbar, and shoulder rests with a soft cloth.

Use a mild, alcohol-free cleaner or diluted soap solution (avoid harsh chemicals).

Clean the handles and straps—these collect sweat and oils easily.

2. Weekly Care

Inspect the springs for any signs of rust, wear, or stretching.

Check the wheels and tracks for dust or hair buildup; wipe with a dry cloth.

Tighten any screws or knobs that may loosen with frequent use.

3. Monthly Maintenance

Apply a small amount of silicone spray(never oil-based) to the tracks for a smooth glide.

Examine the ropes/straps for fraying—replace if needed.

Test the spring resistance to ensure even tension.

4. Storage Tips

Keep your reformer in a dry, ventilated space away from direct sunlight.

If foldable, store upright to save space while protecting the frame.

Avoid placing heavy items on top of the reformer.

5. When to Replace Parts

Springs: every 18–24 months, depending on frequency of use.

Ropes/Straps: When you notice fraying or reduced elasticity.

Wheels: if you feel uneven sliding during carriage movement.

6. Pro Tips

A well-maintained reformer not only feels better during workouts but also prevents costly repairs and ensures safety.
